There have been and there are many fantastic contests here
so what are the pros and cons ? Well , i actually like contests a lot ! It's cool that someone tells the theme , what i have to draw and i can be creative , it's also very cool to see the others works as well , they are all original and different , styles are a lot different too It's really good , i can improve and that's what i really want. Also more people can see my art and i think it's really great . I haven't win any contest and i don't actually care , because i know i am not professional artist , not even close , but my biggest dream- i want to get to honorable mentions so much !
Well what i don't like about contests is that there are always the same winners , i mean ariel and tinkerbell contests .. digital works won , i respect people who do digital works and there's nothing bad about it , i don't judge them , but it makes me sad that digital art is more popular and drawings don't have any chance , it seems so.
Also when it's the judging time , it seems like friends are voting for their friends . it's not fair i think , but maybe i am wrong , if i am , then i am really sorry.
Also .. I love contests and i want to take part of them , but it's really hard .. i mean one contest ends and another starts again i want to take part of them but then i don't have time to draw somebody else who i want , also i have school and so much homework , i had tests every day this week and i am in art school so it's hard to draw
so i am waiting for your opinion
